*Position: Network Engineer* *Location: Portland, OH* *Duration: 12 Months* *Role Description:* · Wireless works with internal/external partners to evaluate, design, and build solutions for business and customer requirements which integrate with and enhance the network--specifically (but not exclusively) around 802.11 wireless solutions.Primary Responsibilities: · Design and manage the rollout of critical network infrastructures to support DTNA’s wireless products and services, on both a strategic (long term) and tactical (immediate term) level. · Troubleshoot wired and wireless implementations to success, according to business needs and stipulated designs--including L2 and L3 wired network problems in support of wireless technologies. · Ensure that wireless network infrastructure is fully documented and performing as required for internal and customer SLA guarantees and expectations by means of specific metrics and measurements. *Skills:* · 10 + Years of experience supporting large scale networks of 10,000 or more nodes, with 30% and higher wireless adoptionDemonstrates the following skills and behaviors · Strong understanding of centrally controlled 802.11 wireless systems, including Guest wireless access/control--including topology/design elements of tunnelized CAPWAP traffic engineering · Strong understanding of endpoint authentication systems for wireless (WPA2, PKI, etc.). · Strong skills and experience around wireless network technologies, specifically Cisco Wireless LAN controller design, implementation and troubleshooting. · Advanced ability to troubleshoot issues with network wired and wireless infrastructure. · General knowledge of 802.11 Wireless technologies, specifically on Cisco Wireless Controllers · Advanced Knowledge of Cisco operating systems · Significant experience with centralized IPAM services: DNS, DHCP · Ability to communicate with customers. · Solid background in *NIX operating systems (Linux, Solaris, etc.) · A high degree of Customer Service skills. · An understanding of Remedy (or similar ticket management system) and how to manage tickets. · Willingness to work with others on problems that may not be specifically Network related. · A commitment to total quality and the process of continuous improvement. · Ability to work in an office environment and interact with others. · Current Cisco Certification: CCNP-wireless or higher · Advanced knowledge of Cisco network design best practices · Thorough understanding of modern service provider TCP/IP data networks using standards and technologies · Strong working knowledge of structured cabling systems, network facilities, electrical, UPS, etc. · Ability to work alone as an individual contributor, as a technical lead, and as a participant in a team environment. · Router, Switch and IP configuration experience is required. *Desirable Skills:* · Knowledge of, or experience with, Cisco PRIME Infrastructure for Wireless LAN support. · Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN support and engineering design for voice, data and video networks at Wireless Access locations. · Strong capabilities in documenting network architectures and designs · The Senior Network Engineer-Wireless provides technical expertise, strategic planning and recommendations to IT management for 802.11 wireless technologies and network applications in response to business needs. *Thanks & Regards* *Ajeet Dwivedi* (IT Recruiter) Email: [email protected] Gtalk: [email protected] www.nityo.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Business_Intelligence" group.
