*Interview Process:*

·         Apex Technical Screening

·         Phone Interviews on Tuesday (interview times set with client)

·         Personal Interview on Thursday/Friday (for an all-star candidate
could potentially do Skype from an Apex Office)

*Job Description:*


·         Consultant will play key part in building the automation pipeline
for various teams including ECM and PPT teams.

·         Consultant will work to conceptualize the pipeline as a way for
team to automate testing:

·         Prioritize which tests will be automated; which will run on daily
automation, nightly automation (off-shore) and which will remain manual.

·         Evaluate the current testing and identify what tests are bringing
value, which are not and how to better operationalize the process

·         Ability to answer the question: "Conceptually, what are we trying
to do? Build, Deploy, Automate, Re-build, run 2nd test in different

·         Consultant will produce and be actively involved in:

·         Building automation suite that runs with Continuous Pipeline

·         Working in team that is building enhancements

*Required Skills:*

·         Strong communication skills--written/verbal, will be the lead's
voice as this is continuous pipeline is built and deployed

·         Unit testing background--writing quality (not quantity) unit
tests and understands the importance of unit testing

·         Conceptual understanding of importance of testing to the company

*Position responsibilities:*

·         Create internal applications and pipelines for testing automation
and design specifications using agreed standards and tools

·         Achieve well-engineered results that follow the agreed best

·         Take responsibility for the design, coding, testing, and
documentation (as defined by the SDLC process) of particularly large,
complex or mission critical software programs

·         Adhere to all US standards, Policies, and governance practices

·         Assume ownership of various initiatives across organization for
complete and successful delivery

·         Provide issue response and root cause analysis on work assigned

·         Understand and deliver on the group's concept of automation by
owning the design, build and implementation of the pipeline.

·         Report progress, delays, and risks on assigned activities

·         Raise awareness when existing code, systems or processes do not
meet current quality expectations and standards

·         Maintain code and all related artifacts in source control

·         Translate business ask to technical concepts

·         Assist QA and production testing and deployment; assume ownership
of the work until it passes successful Production Verification Test

·         Automate functional testing

·         Participate and lead peer code review sessions

*Core Technical Qualifications*

·         5-10 years working experience of Java, Web Services (REST),
Spring, Hibernate, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JavaScript based Frameworks

·         Experience with server side languages, SASS, Bootstrap, RequireJS
/ Webpack, TDD, REST, JSTL, Spring and Continuous Integration is a plus.

·         Knowledge of version control, build processes

·         Experience creating and troubleshooting cross browser, cross
device compliant HTML, CSS and JavaScript

·         Experienced with multiple JavaScript libraries/frameworks

·         Ability to develop technical designs and interpret and relate the
business requirements to technical components

·         Can describe the overall function of several components in the
technical platform

·         Demonstrated very strong level of technical expertise both within
own area of responsibility and other IT domains

·         Has comprehensive understanding of full development lifecycle and
is actively involved in all phases
