IPv6 certification preferred. • Experience with external IP registrars, nationally and internationally. • IP addressing design experience in both the Public and Private addressing space • In-depth knowledge carrier network services and architecture design. • In-depth knowledge of video infrastructure systems that provide user connectivity both internally/externally. • In-depth knowledge of WAN acceleration devices that optimize end user and data center to data center application flows. • Knowledge of Software Defined WAN (SD-WAN) technologies and use cases in conjunction with telecom carrier services topology. • Has a broad understanding of IT infrastructure platforms (cross work stream, e.g. Compute, Storage, LAN, VoIP, NGFW, VPN, IDS/IPS, Load Balancers, etc…) • Provides technical thought leadership in both business-as-usual and crisis conditions. • Lead technical teams in a multi-vendor environment through Major Incident Response situation where required, providing clear communications to Sr. Management • Has the ability to effectively communicate complex technical topics to Sr. Management. • Able to communicate technical knowledge to non-technical business units. • Leads cross-discipline infrastructure projects and exercises sound judgment. • Works on complex technical problems and provides solutions that are highly innovative, cost effective, and operationally sound. • Takes the initiative to act independently to achieve organization objectives, uncover, and resolve issues. • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration. REQUIRMENTS: Minimum Education: • Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Engineering, Telecommunication. • Preferred: MS Computer Science/Engineering, Telecommunications.
