*MD-Maryland/Rockville Duration::: 6+ monthsMOI::: Phone then face to face* *Job Description::* -Client is looking for an Application Developer, Java as the primary skill along with either PHP, C#, or .Net -The position is based in office in Rockville, MD with frequent travel to our DC office for meetings with stakeholders and other staff. *REQUIRED SKILLS:* - 5 years of work experience primarily focused on building system architectures for complex interconnected systems. - 5 years developing web applications using at least 2 programing languages* Java is required* in additi* C#, PHP, R, or .NET* on to 1 of these:- At least 1yr implementing User Interfaces *using BootStrap, ReactJS etc.* - Ability to learn new programming languages demonstrated by using at least 2 or more web programming languages simultaneously for at least 5yrs. - 5yrs experience developing Web Services and APIs implementing *REST, SOAP, JSON, JQuery, XML and XSLT.* - Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems or related technology field. *NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:* - Some experience with packaging applications using off-the-shelf installers. - Experience with Health Information Exchanges implementing OpenHIE or HL7 standards. - DHIS2 (District Health Information System) experience as a programmer/developer. - Experience working with or in low technology resource environments. - Willingness to travel internationally about 30%. - Interest in and commitment to international development outcomes. - Proficient in the French language. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* - Designing and programing components and features that build out the data exchange enabled version of DATIM. - Collaborating with various stakeholder developers/programmers working new and enhancements to existing features for data exchange enabled version of DATIM. - Heavy contribution and involvement in technical discussions about key systems architecture pieces necessary to continue the build out of the DATIM data exchange architecture and infrastructure. - Bringing knowledge and experience of best practice gleamed from past experience developing complex interconnected systems. - Assist with the documentation activities to stakeholder understanding of the data exchange infrastructure, its features and operations. - Multitasking between various development activities to programming and deploy systems. .
