Test Engineer at this position is expected to plan and execute manual and
automatic tests of Cable Modem product.
Job Description:
· Working in close cooperation with other Test Engineers and
Developers, constantly gaining knowledge in product specifications and
testing methodology.
· Operate test setups configuration and deployment.
· Respond and adjust to rapidly changing business demands, in order
to provide fine testing coverage in various product areas.
· Plan and execute manual and automatic tests on project and
maintenance versions.
· Troubleshooting complex bug scenarios, actively assisting DEV
team to analyze and resolve various product issues.
*Desired Skills and Experience*
*Qualifications:*
1. *A graduate degree in computer science* - MUST
2. *Strong networking experience with TCP-IP protocol* – MUST
3. *Advanced knowledge of Linux operating system* – MUST
4. *Experience in QA methodologies* - MUST
5. *Excellent spoken and written English* – MUST
6. *Practical experience of at least 3 years in networking* – MUST
7. Experience with DOCSIS 3.0/3.1 protocol - Advantage
8. Scripting experience (Bash, TCL, JavaScript …) – Advantage
9. Good communication skills
10. Attention to details and punctuality
*Other profile type that can be considered is: CISCO certified professional*
CCNA/ CCNP certified with good sound knowledge of the above qualification
mentioned.
