*Accountabilities:*
1. Assess an organization’s ability to change, build an implementation
roadmap to scale Agile to the enterprise level, and then use Agile methods
to effectively transform the organization and provide ongoing coaching to
the teams.
2. Work independently or in a team setting to evangelize agile best
practices across the organization
3. Provide role-based Scaled Agile Framework training for executives
(business and technology), Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Release Train
Engineers (RTE), and system teams
4. Assist the Portfolio Management team in portfolio backlog creation and
grooming
5. Train and coach product owners with the creation of portfolio-level
Epics and Features, as well as performing continuous
prioritization/grooming of both portfolio and program backlogs
6. Assist in Agile Release Planning; Provide RTE/Program Manager guidance
in creating Vision and Roadmap artifacts; create/update Release/Program
Plans with features and dependencies; and assist in WSJF discussions and
calculations
7. Develop and enable Product Managers as Business Content Authority
Experts for the release trains, by facilitating Release Train readiness
reviews, backlog grooming activities, and Inspect and Adapt (I&A) workshops
8. Implement relevant Scaled Agile Framework metrics at the team, program,
and portfolio levels; evaluate the results, and recommend course
corrections to help the teams continuously improve their delivery
activities
9. Mentor and assist the coaching staff in helping the teams with effective
backlog grooming sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews and
retrospectives (capture retrospective results with an eye on process and
practice improvement; provide coaching where needed), and resolving
impediments that prevent agile teams from completing sprint commitments
10. Work with Quality Assurance representatives to introduce automated
testing into the SAFe process.
11. Provide support for the development and sustainment of the Delivery
Center of Excellence (DCE) and manage the Agile Coaching staff
12. Provide tools coaching (Rally, VersionOne, VSTS, and JIRA) and develop
and foster continuous improvement

*Requirements:*
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial/Organizational
Psychology or Computer Science preferred with a strong academic record
(graduate degree in Business or Technology a plus)
2. Minimum of 15 years of experience: 5 years in a management role and 3
years in Agile coaching
3. Scrum Master Certification (CSM) with a minimum of 5 years practical
experience acting as a Scrum Master
4. *SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) Certification with a minimum of 1 year
SAFe experience in leading a large scale waterfall to Agile
Transformations *
5. Strong professional appearance and possess a high level of emotional
intelligence and demonstrated seasoned acumen when interacting with both
senior business and technical personnel, as well as the “on-the-ground”
consulting and delivery teams
6. Minimum 3-5 years of industry experience (Consumer Products, Retail,
Distribution, and Transportation) as an Agile Coach (resume should clearly
articulate the coaching experience in a large scale enterprise agile
transformation).
7. Experience in training teams on Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban,
Lean, etc.) along with the capability to conduct role based Agile training
such as Scrum Master Training, Product Owner Training, etc.
8. Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD)
9. Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, LARA, LISA, Puppet, Chef,
etc. a plus.
10. Experience in managing or leading Agile engagements in a distributed
agile environment such as on-site / off-shore model
11. Experience in creating and tailoring Agile processes based on customer
need, keeping the processes always aligned to the Agile Manifesto
12. Hands-on knowledge and experience in relevant Agile tools such as
Rally, Jira, Version One, etc.
13. Strong collaboration and partnership skills to work with
infrastructure, operations, enterprise & solution architecture teams
14. Expertise in problem solving and analyzing global scale distributed
systems and critical production service environments
15. Experience in software, systems, networking, hardware, logistics and
operations or capacity planning
16. Knowledge of Agile testing and engineering practices
17. A strong background and solid grasp of software development, QA and
system deployment
18. Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills with a firm
sense of accountability, ownership for the end-to-end project lifecycle,
and exceptional Lean Agile Project Management skills
19. Ability to demonstrate thought leadership in Agile to customers
