Title: DB2 UDB DBA Location: St. Louis, MO Length: 1 Year + Job Description: Our client seeks a Technical and Production Database Analyst DBA for a 1-Year + contract with our direct client. Description of Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities: * Work on improving or maintaining the current databases and structures * Build automation of data synchronization, table updates, and validations Secondary responsibilities: * Improve and maintain the performance of the databases * Identify (and potentially help develop) key reports and tools need to improve the data collection, validation, and loading process. Required Skills: * Extensive experience using one (or multiple) of the following database systems: IBM DB2, SQL Server, Oracle. * Extensive experience building stored procedures and scheduled jobs for data ETL between various data sources and destinations. * Experience with data modeling, performance tuning, index modeling, database security management, and other related DBA tasks. * Experience using views and database tools to facilitate application development and ETL processes. * Experience using Powerdesigner or similar tool(s) for data modeling and documentation. * Experience building ETL mappings between database environments and flat file transformations. * Capable of building HTML web reports Description of Application: Data building and reporting tool used by HQ and the factory business associates to create data that will be loaded into SAP.
