Direct responsibility for the design, maintenance, and support of Data
Warehouse Systems. The developer requires a high level of analytical
and creative skills and an in-depth knowledge of database structure,
data warehouse configuration, methodology, design, and modeling. The
developer?s typical duties includes but not limited to designing and
building data warehouses, designing ETL architectures and procedures,
performing analysis, SQL scripting, tuning and optimization on very
large (multi-terabyte) databases, managing capacity planning and
performance analysis, working with application developers to design
and develop database objects and structures according to project
specifications, addressing data quality issues with users, vendors and
management, analyzing organizational data requirements and creating
logical and physical Data Flow Diagrams and Entity Relationship
Diagrams using tools such as Visio and ERwin. Must be able to work
with and within a cross-functional development, QA and production
team.



This project deals with bringing in new source systems in to the
Enterprise Operational Data Store (ODS). Project focus is to design
and develop a process to format third party vendor files, perform data
cleansing, adhere to enterprise standards and load to target ODS.
Candidate should have strong Data Warehouse and ETL background
especially with IBM DataStage. At least 5 years of working experience.



Skills Required:


IBM DataStage 7.5 or higher required.

DB2 UDB required.

Strong SQL and UNIX scripting is required.

Scheduling tools such as AutoSys is required.



Technical Skills NICE TO Have?s but not required:

Experience of handling mainframe files using CFF stage of DataStage.
Familiar with Data Modeling.
