Title: Senior Systems Administrator Location: Indianapolis, IN
Length: 6-12 Months Contract-to-Hire Interview: 1st (telephone), 2nd On-Site F2F Rate: $55/hr all-inclusive The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for providing senior-level operations support and engineering design functions for production infrastructure networks or systems. Leads major upgrades, business system replacements in change control, and implementation of the systems and networks REQUIRED SKILLS: * Must have at least 8 years of Sun Solaris Administration and at least 5 years with Sun Solaris 10 * 2-3 years of experience with AIX administration * At least 4 years of High Availability experience, especially monitoring and capacity planning * 3 or more years of EMC or Sun branded Hitachi SAN experience, like Sun Hitachi 9985, 9985v and HDS 9975v experience * Veritas Volume Manager and Veritas NetBackup. * Sun One Directory Server, Sun One Web Server and/or Sun Identity Manager experience * Experience specializing in the installation and configuration of various software packages, pkg-add, or compiling from source and building installation or update packages * ArcSight, MQSeries experience preferred * Must be familiear with NIST, CIS and/or DISA standards * Must have Oracle 10g and SQL Server database experience EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: * BA/BS Degree * Sun Solaris or AIX Certifications - preferred Thanks, Pavan Ling Technologies, Inc.
