*Role: SR .NET ARCHITECT ( No developer resumes please)* Location: Indianapolis, IN Duration: 6 month contract The Enterprise Architecture team within our client is comprised of seasoned architects and developers whose mission is to provide thought leadership, drive technology direction across the company and ultimately help product groups within products, we produce high quality software delivered on-time, on-budget that can solve business requirements now and into the future. The Enterprise Architecture team is currently working on a project to deliver a next-generation service oriented architectural framework to define the basis of future product development. This product family architecture will be leveraged by many different products and customers over time and will be built using the latest .NET 4.0 technologies. The framework will make it easy internal and partner developers to rapidly create new and modify existing applications on the our platform. We are staffing up a small team of A-level players for this unique challenge and we're seeking an experienced senior developer to be an integral part of this team. You'll be brining your years of experience to bear as a hard-core agile .NET developer to solve challenging engineering problems quickly and cleanly, creating frameworks and APIs and providing mentorship and guidance for other members of the team. *Duties Include: * • Provide senior-level systems design, development, programming, consultation and support for next generation core banking application based in C# and .NET 4.0, relational databases and distributed n-tier application platforms • Conduct design and code reviews across project work • Serve as a technical expert in the evaluation and testing of the capabilities, characteristics and requirements of existing and emerging information systems technologies • Make recommendations as to feasibility of implementation; provide technical leadership and assistance to colleagues, users and staff. Design, develop and implement unit and scenario testing for existing code base and for new functionality under development. • Participate in paired programming to work with other developers on new application code. • Mentor team members in adopting technologies and tools that you are already familiar with, but which may be new to them. • Work on infrastructure backlog tasks as assigned. Participate in scrum agile development process. *Qualifications*: • 7+ years experience developing with .NET and C# • B.S. Computer Science • Extensive experience with .NET 3.5, C# and technologies such as WCF, WPF, WF • Experience and familiarity with .NET 4.0 preferred • Ability to quickly learn new technology and apply knowledge to solve technical and business problems • Strong SQL skills a must, experience with Oracle a plus • Strong problem solving skills • Deep knowledge of software engineering and computer science fundamentals • Experience with SOA, Web Services and large distributed systems • Solid experience with Agile development, in particular Scrum • End to end experience across the entire software development lifecycle • Track record of shipping production ready software • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a project team in a cooperative effort Thanking you, Mamatha 630 364 1907 [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Business Objects User Group" group.
