Product Owner Proxy Job Description: This candidate will be broadly skilled across multiple areas within IT. Background should include development/SDET experience, customer interaction, project management, and solution creation. They must have a good sense of the top-down view of a solution, as well as the bottom up layers to support that solution. An important aspect of this role is the ability to take ownership and responsibility for the product. From definition to Acceptance, this role will be representing our current and future customers requirements and wants, and this role will need to feel accountable for the delivery of that desired product. Great communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation. Able to work in an Agile, fast paced environment with a "get-it-done" attitude.
Role responsibilities include: · Manage and prioritize Backlog based on stakeholder feedback · Work with Architects on gathering business and technical requirements · Gathers and sorts requirements · Responsible for decomposing backlog into user stories · Development of supporting data required for user stories (i.e. wireframes) · Responsible for working daily with development team on requirements · Builds scenarios in backlog (works with architects to populate backlog) · Understands business requirements to Technical mapping · Understands Technical requirements to Business mapping · Understands how project fits into the overall program · Can create and deliver a detailed presentation on topics to collaborating teams · Manage project priorities · Present on progress and provide demos of work to stakeholders · Recommend on improvements · Responsible for providing acceptance criteria during sprint review · Own/Align and contribute to Project roadmap · Own/Align and contribute to Release planning · Team Player · Manages time well Areas of particular strength This individual will need a wide and deep level of experience.
