Job Title: Senior Informatica Developer
Job Description:
We are searching for a senior Informatica Developer to be part of a team of
ETL Developers. Primarily support Regional Banking with reporting and data
analysis on areas such as compliance, teller scheduling, store performance,
recruiting etc. We are looking for dynamic, professional, team-oriented,
self-motivated individual with good communication skills and positive
attitude. Prior experience in an ETL environment is a must, with a minimum
15+ years of ETL and 7+ years of Informatica experience.
Responsibilities:
* Work with business users to clarify ETL requirements and business rules
* Design, develop, implement, and assist in validating ETL processes
* Create and execute unit test plans based on system and validation
requirements.
* Troubleshoot, optimize, and tune ETL processes.
* Document all ETL related work per company's methodology
* Maintain existing code and fix bugs whenever needed
* Ensure that all timelines of loading/validating data are met
* Ensure smooth functioning of our development, QA, production and staging
environments.
Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
* 15+Years of ETL developer experience
* 7+Years of Informatica experience is a must
* 7+Years of SQL Server/Oracle experience
* Experience with developing an ETL lifecycle. Review and recommend the
appropriate Informatica architecture configuration as well as database and
hardware landscape.
* Expert level Informatica development experience. Understand reusability,
parameterization, workflow design, etc.
* Experience developing ETL processes using Informatica * ETL control
tables, error logging, auditing, data quality, etc.
* Strong experience administrating the Informatica environment * managing
services, repository maintenance, deployments, user administration,
versioning, etc.
* Strong Unix/Linux scripting experience
* Strong database development skills like complex SQL queries, complex store
procedures in Oracle and SQL Server.
* Experience in Data Analysis, Data Modeling and Data Mart design
* Experience developing complex web service mappings with Informatica is a
plus
