- Apply knowledge of Object Oriented Architecture and Design to create
enterprise software solutions.
- Participate in design sessions where features, enhancements or bugs are
discussed in professional and respectful manner.
- Develop high quality programs in C#/.NET with limited supervision.
- Experience with Oracle database development (SQL, SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader,
etc.) Understand C/C++, Java and Perl code.
- Collaborate with the team of finding every possible way to enhance
existing enterprise systems.
- Write unit and functional tests. Perform performance tuning and
debugging. Create necessary deployment scripts. Deliver working solutions in
timely manner.
- Produce required documentation. Monitor deployed applications.
- Train production support personal on use of developed systems and
enhanced functionality. Provide support by advising in the areas of
expertise.
*Qualifications:*
• Understanding of Object Oriented Architecture and Design.
• Experience in development and support of critical enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of Windows operating system with understanding of Linux.
• At least 3 years of experience with C#/.NET application development.
• Minimum of 5 years of GUI development in RAD environment.
• Knowledge of multi-threaded programming.
• Knowledge of other languages: C/C++, and Java.
• Working knowledge of messaging middleware: TIBCO, 29West.
• Experience with networking protocols: TCP/IP and UDP.
• Understanding of relational databases and experience with Oracle & Sybase
• Problem solving capability and strong analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
