eclipse)

Looking for an extremely experienced, agile Sr. web developer to
design, develop and enhance the business suite of applications. We are
looking for a skilled hands-on developer.
*Responsibilities will include:*
· Agile development of Java based systems, including paired
programming.
· Meet with users to identify project requirements. Test, write and
implement software according to the users’ specifications.
· Coordinate with architecture and other technical teams to integrate
with other client systems
*Required: *
· Passion for empowering users, with experience in user-facing product
design and development.
· Excellent communications skills, with the ability to work with
business users as well as other members of the technical staff.
· 7+ Years experience building Java/Web applications using tools such
as Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat, Eclipse and Maven.
· Expert-level Java skills and object oriented design experience,
including strong knowledge of core libraries and common design patterns
· Commitment to testability, supportability, extensibility, simple
design, high cohesion and low coupling, programming to interfaces, and
maintaining high unit test coverage.
· Experience in a cross-platform, cross-browser environment
· Experience with light-weight and/or Agile, test-driven development
methodologies
· Experience with large-scale production systems (i.e. scalability,
high-availability), with the ability to optimize architecture and
implementation across all layers of architecture.
· Experience with the entire software lifecycle – requirements capture,
analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance, deployment, and
maintenance
· Proven track record in architecture and creation of professional
grade software
· Experience implementing and optimizing persistence layers (e.g.
Hibernate) over SQL databases (e.g. Oracle)
*Additional:*
· Implemented Web Services (server and client)
· Experience with scripting tools such as Ruby/Rails, Perl or
Groovy/Grails
· Experience with AJAX, JavaScript, CSS.
· Experience with JBoss, Perforce, Seam.
· Comfortable with user interface design and development
· Experienced with a wide range of technologies and standards, and
experienced selecting the appropriate tool for each application.
· Experience with security issues.
· Cloud computing (e.g. EC2).
