AIX Administrators
Location: Clark's Summit, PA
Duration: Minimum 1 year
Project Overview:
Work with team of UNIX administrators in highly technical environment,
providing 24x7 support for approximately 2200 UNIX operating systems in 2
Data Centers. Predominately AIX, with varied levels of virtualization.
MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- UNIX systems administrator {AIX /SUN operating systems}
- Minimum 5 years of experience in UNIX systems operations and
administration
- Strong AIX operating system skills,
- HACMP technology and administration
- Knowledge of SAN storage management a plus
Hardware platform experience
- IBM pSeries, including Power 5 and Power 6, running AIX 5.x/6.x.
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of AIX UNIX operating systems
and associated component/tools.
- Expertise in AIX OS, with strong knowledge and practice in HACMP
clustering, network configurations, partition and virtualization
technology.
- Experience with VIOS, HMC, MPIO, NPIV, Virtualization and partition
mobility.
- Needs to have strong knowledge and practice on SAN, EMC, XIV, etc.
- Linux knowledge desirable.
