Support Services. The selected candidate will manage and support the
operating systems environment under UNIX, LINUX and will be responsible for
programming and assisting in the daily operations of the UNIX operating
environment. Candidate must have tenacity and posses the necessary skills
required to work with a variety of users.*
Required:
� Knowledge in systems administration and networks in a widely diverse
environment (which includes servers, terminals, workstations and printers).
� Knowledge of Digital, SUN, personal computer hardware platforms.
� Knowledge of TCP/IP and other network protocols.
� Current expertise in Sun Solaris and Red Hat Linux administration.
� Technical Knowledge of SAN infrastructure.
� Ability to write and speak effectively
� Experience with SUN Solaris type of hardware
� Formal training in UNIX/LINUX, DOS, Windows.
� Hands on system maintenance experience.
� Network hardware experience working with fiber, coaxial, and copper
twisted pair wiring and CABLETRON, SMC, 3COM, CISCO networking hardware.
� Must be at expert level skill in programming using PERL
� Ability to work in a team environment.
