*Application Architect***
Application Architect specialized mainly in J2EE technology with
finance/banking experience with strong technical and communication skills.
Participates in the design and development of business and system
architectures.
Responsible for working highly complex architectural impact projects and
directing implementation of the
architecture for a single or multiple applications or system components.
Assists senior architects with
conducting complex technology and system assessments for component
architecture and
may participate in enterprise architecture activity. Provides technical and
systems
consultation to internal clients and technical management to ensure
alignment with
Enterprise Architecture. Exposure to agile or similar kind of iterative
development process.
Acts as a technical expert on the design and development of highly
complex, large-scale internet and intranet applications on
Unix/Linux/windows platform, crossing
multiple business lines. Uses expert knowledge of web technologies,
including Java,
Java Script, HTML, XML, Perl, multimedia applications, database modeling
tools
and/or database interactions. Evaluates systems specifications for client
area web site
requirements and determines and implements the most efficient and
cost-effective
software/package solution. Does researching and tracking new web
technologies, developing applications, and analyzing business requirements
as they
pertain to web-based systems. Able to learn new technologies on the job.
*Required Skill Set : JEE Java, JSP, JavaScript & AJAX, XML, SOA & Web
Services, SOAP. Web Logic Server, Web 2.0 technologies, Oracle DB, ,
Eclipse IDE, Oracle , Microsoft Office Tools, Visio, UML diagrams ***
*Required domain knowledge :* Experience in financial/banking industry with
expertise around entitlements and treasury applications.
