Position: Java Consultant Location Chicago Start immediately Pay rate - $ for us!! I have an immediate need for one Java Developer, to replace a Java resource that was due to start at my client tomorrow but backed out last minute due to family issues. This is a 90 day assignment for a resource that would work in the western suburbs of Chicago, (Downers Grove, IL). The client does not want to pay travel, so candidates should be local to or willing to relocate to the Chicago area. A position description is as follows, of which the highlighted items are key: 1. 5-7 years experience in Java development / J2EE / JBOSS (This is a mid-to-senior level developer position.) 2. 3-5 years experience in JRULE development and rule tuning 3. 3-5 years experience XML and SOAP development 4. 3-5 years experience with SOA based architectures and web services development (This resource needs to be strong in Web Services architectures, as the client’s *Intelligent Leads* application is a high performance system that utilizes WSDLs and interfaces with other SOAP-based systems.) 5. 3-5 years experience with high performance web services / WSDL development and tuning (Ditto the above.) 6. 3-5 years experience with database driven web services, specifically Oracle 8 through 10 7. 3-5 years experience with Linux based systems, specifically Redhat Enterprise Linux 3 & 4 8. 3 years experience with software testing, test tools, and test case execution and documentation 9. 3 years experience with web based security protocols, development, and implementation of security mechanisms 10. 3 years experience with using code management systems, version control, and processes 11. 3 years experience in requirements analysis and technical specifications development 12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 13. Experience with PMI based SDLC methodologies 14.
