*Job Functions or Responsibilities
ETL Business Data Analyst for Data Conversion Tracking Tool Development
Project
*Must Have Educational Qualifications/Skills/Experience (Basic
Qualifications)
Data Analysis and transformation rules
Data architecture and analysis
Queries, analyzes, and interprets complex data stored in DB2 and Oracle
databases.
Writes SQL queries, using standard query tools such as TOAD and QMF.
Detects, documents, and recommends approaches for handling data quality
issues.
Articulates data derivation or transformation rules in business
terminology.
Uses Microsoft Office tools for use in documentation, presentations, etc.
Understand the information storage structure in the different System of
Records and map them to a structure compatible with target application and
prepare the high level data model
Data mapping & transformation:
Maps data attributes from existing sources to the target reporting data
model.
Database Management
Identifies gaps between the target reporting data model and the required
attributes identified by business users.
*Must Have Soft Skills/Experience (i.e. communications, environment)
Excellent Communication Skills, Team player, Should be able to articulate
and sell Solutions, Merger and Acquisition Experience, System Integration
Data architecture and analysis: Queries, analyzes, and interprets complex
data stored in DB2 and Oracle databases. Data warhousing and Oracle 10 G.
Strong DB modeling and data analysis skills are the must
