Send me resume to [email protected] Senior AIX Administrator Location: Nebraska Duration : 3+ months ** Must have strong virtualization experience and be able to set up virtualization.** The AIX skill set needed is: 8+ years minimum experience with AIX 5.3 and 6.1 Experience with AIX 5.3 and 6.1 patching, installation, security and tuning Experience with virtualization with both midrange (520-570 and enterprise-level 575 and 595) pSeries servers Experience in LPARS, DLPARS, NPIV, LPM and VIOS 2.1, Active Memory Sharing, Multiple Shared CPU pools, Shared Ethernet Adapters Experience scripting in bash, ksh and Perl Experience with IBM BladeCenter blades, JS22/23 and IVMs, Brocade switches Experience with client-side EMC storage support and PowerPath/MPIO Experience working with vendor licensing and maintenance contracts Experience writing and proofing procedural technical documentation With 5-8 years experience, a candidate should be able to effectively maintain the current running environment and make minor changes via the VIO servers and HMC servers.
