Job Functions or Responsibilities*:*

Responsible for doing the data mapping, data modeling and data migration





Must Have Educational Qualifications/Skills/Experience

Oracle 9i/10g

 Queries, analyzes, and interprets complex data stored in DB2 and Oracle
databases.

Detects, documents, and recommends approaches for handling data quality
issues.

Understand the information storage structure in the different System of
Records and map them to a structure compatible with target application and
prepare the high level data model

Data mapping & transformation:

Maps data attributes from existing sources to the target reporting data
model.

Identifies gaps between the target reporting data model and the required
attributes identified by business users.

Articulates data derivation or transformation rules in business terminology.


Uses Microsoft Office tools for use in documentation, presentations, etc.

 Writes SQL queries, using standard query tools such as TOAD and QMF.

 Detects, documents, and recommends approaches for handling data quality
issues.

Articulates data derivation or transformation rules in business terminology.


Uses Microsoft Office tools for use in documentation, presentations, etc.

 Data Modeling

 Maps data attributes from existing sources to the target reporting data
model.

 Data Migration tools
