*Application Support Engineer* *Location -* Boston, MA *Duration-* 2+ Months project *Rate/hr:*DOE *Please DONOT send over .NET Developer profiles...* *Responsibilities:* This position is a technical resource for client-specific solutions and issues; responsible for diagnosing issues and implementing technical solutions for internal and external clients of these systems; solutions might include custom data queries, production data modifications, or production configuration changes, as needed. Will be involved in customizing, configuring, and deploying customer implementations and longer term projects that are production related. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Provide technical client support for Company products and solutions; · Troubleshoot system issues and work to provide workable solutions including, data updates and configuration changes; · Assist with technical aspects of client implementations; · Work closely with Client Managers and clients to meet their custom reporting needs; · Manage multiple client issues simultaneously and workflow to ensure schedule dates are met on time; and · Complete other projects as assigned. *Qualifications:* This position requires hands-on experience; candidate must have a bachelor's degree in related area of study and minimum 2-3 years experience. The successful candidate will have the following skills: · Excellent technical problem solving skills and experience in software and database support; · Proven ability to understand and support an enterprise application suite with multiple supporting databases; · Demonstrated competence to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects while maintaining operational excellence and data integrity within established timeframes; · Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of integrity and discretion required; must be able to effectively communicate with technical and nontechnical team members; · Requires the following technical skills: *Microsoft SQL Server 2005*/*2008 and T-SQL experience; experience with .NET and C# a plus*; and · Desire to work in a small-team environment with the ability to work independently and with the team. *Full commitment to conduct business with the utmost integrity and in full compliance with the law is absolutely essential. * *Reporting:* Will report to the Vice President, Product Development and will work closely with all members of the IT, Development and Client Services teams, and others throughout the Company as needed.
