Business Intelligence group is looking for a bright, motivated Senior
ETL Developer to assist a highly focused Business Intelligence team in
building our Enterprise Data Warehouse.
* *Qualifications include:
· - 8-10 years of overall IT experience
· - Bachelor's degree in a technology or business related field
preferred with at least 5 years experience working with Informatica 7/8,
Oracle PL/SQL and SQL.
· - Advanced experience developing and maintaining ETL packages for
data warehouses and data marts is required.
· - Advanced PL/SQL and SQL proficiency.
· - Understanding of data warehousing principles is a must (Kimball,
Inmon etc.).
· - Exceptional logical reasoning, analysis, and problem solving
skills.
· - Knowledge of enterprise-scale Oracle databases.
· - Ability to write functional specification and technical design
documents.
· - Strong interpersonal skills and good oral and written
communication skills.
· - Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
· - Experience with system development and change management
methodologies.
· - Experience in Unix shell scripting

* **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: *

· - Development and maintenance of ETL packages to support an
Enterprise Data Warehouse using Informatica 7 and 8.
· - Development of historic and incremental extract packages,
transformations, and loads into Enterprise Date Warehouse.
· - Analyzes requirements for new data and reports as well as
enhancement requests to existing reports and how that applies to ETL.
· - Develops and documents both functional and technical ETL
specifications based upon business requirements.
· - Ability to communicate how changes to source systems may impact
existing ETL jobs and reports.
· - Regular communications with work group, leads, systems analyst
staff, QA and support groups
