Data Quality - Business Systems Analyst 1 year contract Stamford CT Business Systems Analyst position will interface with the current business users and data owners of the current platforms/processes, as well as the to-be design team. The individual will identity and document data quality assessment, execute data measurement and drive clean-up activities across a wide array of source systems. The goal is to ensure the target platform has complete, accurate and reliable data and monitoring / control processes to maintain data quality. *RESPONSIBILITIES: * · Work effectively across a broad range of business functions to define data quality areas of concern, and establish data quality standards · Document data quality reporting / monitoring requirements, coordinate development and review results with data owners · Work with Data Migration business analysts to address data quality issues and gaps · Effectively propose/design technical solutions based on data quality requirements. Partner with technical solution providers to ensure optimal delivery. · Recommend, design and implement data cleansing processes for data migration · Drive corrective actions with Treasury Data Stewards, Process Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and operating businesses to ensure data quality meets defined standards · Ensure compliance to documented IT and Controllership standards · Participate in the development / deployment of data governance framework *QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS* · *Bachelors Degree & 4+ years in a business analyst / data analyst role in IT or financial auditing* · *Financial industry experience required; Treasury Systems preferred* · Strong knowledge of IT systems, data analysis/profiling tools and technologies (SQL, Excel, Informatica IDQ, Dataflux DQ). · Experience in a data migration or data quality role/project is a plus. · Strong analytical and problem solving skills combined with exceptional business acumen, experience in the treasury/financial services industry a plus. · Detail oriented with strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and work in a dynamic, fast paced environment · Clear thinker with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills · Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; interacts with all levels of associates and management within the organization · Demonstrated ability to influence and foster collaborative relationships with ability to engage resources outside of direct-control to gain consensus, meet deadlines and achieve goals and objectives Thank you, Kumar Kronsys Inc.
