The Sr. Systems Engineer will be responsible for racking new servers,
installing operating systems, configuring operating
systems level
application and act as an adviser on new technologies or integration solution.
Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for:
• Coldfusion administration
of application server settings, data services, debugging & logging,
extensions and
security.
• Configure system memory management, session
variables, cfmail tag, componenets, web services, upload files,
query of
queries, CFX Tags, Custom tags and scheduled tasks.
• Specifies how
Coldfusion should interact with the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) and Java Applets
• Managing all aspects of the multi-platform application environment
including day to day support, & systems admin
and general
troubleshooting.
• Supporting the installation, customization and
administration of IBM WebSphere Portal Server, IBM WebSphere
Application
Server and IBM Workplace Web Content Management on Windows and Red Hat Linux.
• Deploying J2EE business application into Production. These are mostly
applications specifically designed and
developed in Java for IBM WebSphere
Infrastructure.
• Supporting the installation and customization of business
applications and systems.
• Performance tuning of Coldfusion and WebSphere
Portal and Application Server – JVM tuning.
• Familiar with SAP Business
objects tool for business intelligence operation
• Assist with Enterprise
Report System design and implementation
• Coldfusion/Java/portal
applications deployment on the server experience
• RedHat Linux and Windows
OS experience
• Shell scripting and perl scripting
• Performance
monitoring and Tuning
• Clustered Environment experience
