* Title: Sap Basis Admin Loc: St.Louis, Missouri * *Duration: 12 months* Builds, maintains, and modifies the central basis network and infrastructure of SAP operability, including base SAP client and IMG set-ups. Develops the topology, identifies the servers that are needed, and creates linkages. Responsible for system performance tuning and database reorganization, and provides advanced problem-solving and technical support. Typically 2+ years experience with Basis module or SAP script and 3+ years experience with operating systems and relational databases. *SAP Basis Administrator* Responsible for the upgrade and maintenance of SAP based systems. *Responsibilities:* . Provide collaboration services to SAP based development and support teams. . Analyze, develop and maintain data architectures and process models within SAP. . Perform SAP systems monitoring and performance tuning. . Perform Oracle database backup and recovery administration. . Design and support interfaces between SAP Basis, NetWeaver and External systems. . Maintain the SAP Data Dictionary and Oracle database objects. . Migrate SAP application programs and data dictionary objects into production. . Provide cutover implementation support. . BASIS configuration administration. . Provide 24x7 emergency SAP Basis support on a rotating schedule. *Required Skills:* . 3+ years SAP Basis Administration experience. . Knowledge in UNIX, Oracle, SQL and CRM systems architecture. . 4+ years of experience in relational and/or hierarchical dat abase technologies. . In-depth knowledge of data modeling concepts and client/server technology. . Broad knowledge of integrated application development methodology. . Effective English written and oral communication skills, excellent problem resolution skills, and must like working in a team environment. *Desired Experience / Attributes:* . Knowledge in NETWEAVER and ABAP/Java stacks. . SAP performance monitoring experience using CCMS. . Backup and recovery using RMAN (Oracle Recovery Manager). . SAP Solution Management. .
