Thanks.. *Location: Rockville, MD – locals * *Duration: 1+ Year Assignment* *Position: QA Tester/Developer* * * Note: this position is towards development side heavy Java development experience required. It is a combination of both (java 60%/ QA 40%). * * *Job Description:* - We need a Senior Tester to join the team to help test and run automation scripts.** - Senior Tester to work Web and Database applications. - Two existing projects are slated to have major enhancements applied in 2011. - The job requires great testing skills, high caliber SQL skills, use of Unix commands, and XML validation and modification. - Use of automated regression tools - the projects have Selenium (Java framework). - The Tester should have confidence in their knowledge of testing best practices and their own skills to speak their mind and push back when necessary. - They will be working on small, fast-paced project teams within a larger test community. - They should be pro-active and good problem solvers. *Requirements:* · Strong SQL skills · XML, XSD, and XSLT usage in testing data transfers · Testing processes and standard test tools, including version control · At least 6 years of testing experience · At least 2 years of recent automation test development experience which should be more advanced than using record and playback.
