*Project Description:*
QA Lead responsible for performing the range of computer systems analysis
functions, test program development and delivery, test case and data
definition, test tools development and authoring of test scripts and test
frameworks required by the QA test effort utilizing a diverse set of test
techniques, programming languages and tools to achieve the test goals of the
Quality Assurance Program.
*Position Functions or Responsibilities:*
- Designs, develops, builds and maintains QA test cases, test data, test
environment(s) and test automation for the iLearn program.
- Interacts with members of the test and development teams to ensure that
test requirements are clearly defined and end users are satisfied
- Supports training and knowledge sharing efforts about QA test
platforms, tools, environments & scripts.
- Acts as Go To person for test issues as they arise in the iLearn
project
- Works with Infrastructure and development teams to maintain reliable
test environments and deployment scripts to ensure smooth running of test
efforts
- Participates in the analysis of requirements and specifications
necessary to create test scripts. Collaborates in developing and maintaining
software test cases and data in accordance with current Quality Assurance
procedures and methodologies
- Performs troubleshooting of test problems to isolate issues and resolve
any issues in a timely manner
- Contributes to the preparation of test data, writes and executes SQL
and other scripts to verify data setup and changes to data (as needed by the
test requirements).
- Participates in the test effort as needed by running tests and
reporting software defects and test findings as needed by the overall QA
effort and in support of QA schedule commitments
- Collaborates broadly with members of the development team to
efficiently isolate and resolve issues that block or impede the test effort

*Qualification:** *
1. A Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from an accredited
college, including or supplemented by 24 semester credits in computer
science or a related engineering field and five years of satisfactory
full-time computer software experience in computer systems development and
analysis, applications programming, database administration, systems
programming, data communications, including three years in a project leader
capacity or as a major contributor on a complex test project; Minimum
Years Required: 3
*Preferred:***
- Experience using open source test tools such as Selenium
- Experience driving functional and performance testing from the cloud
