Need *SQL Server DBA resource* with the following skills? I have an immediate need in *Bloomington**, Ill.** 6 months+* *The SQL Server team manages approximately 175 Applications These applications encompass at least 800 databases (not including System databases). We are managing over 6 Terabytes (TB) of database space. SQL Server continues to be an important DBMS We are looking for individuals that enjoy working in the Windows environment and have an desire to complete technical tasks and provide excellent customer service at a fast pace. Approximately 14 Data Specialists (internal and external) make up the SQL Server Product Support team and SQL Server DBA Service team. 1. Working knowledge of Windows 2003 and some knowledge of Windows 2008 desired. 2. **Working knowledge of Windows Script Host and VB script.** 3. **Knowledge of Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager (SCOM).** 4. Experience with T-SQL and the SQL language in general. 5. **Experience with administration and configuration of SQL Server 2005 and some knowledge of SQL Server 2008 desired.** 6. **Experience with SQL Server Log Shipping 7. Some experience with Windows Clustered server environments.** 8. Knowledge of Windows security 9. Knowledge of Active Directory concepts 10.
