Exposure to Six Sigma Lean Practices
6 years of information systems experience, with at least 5 years as a Data
Analyst:
- Developing Conceptual, Logical and Physical data models in support of
Data Warehouse and/or Business Intelligence projects with a data modeling
tool suite, preferrably CA Erwin 7.x.
- Working with Data Warehouse and/or Business Intelligence Analysts to
create data models, data mappings, use cases, stories and/or specs for
reports, dashboard and BI data cubes/dimensions.
- Working with Business Analysts, Data Architects and others to create:
- BPMN compliant business process flow diagrams
- Data flows diagrams; which are aligned with business flows
- Use Cases, Stories, and/or requirement documents needed to produce
BI and Reporting deliverables
- Supporting multiple concurrent data-related projects or enhancement
efforts concurrently* *
*Preferred: *
- Healthcare industry experience
- 2 years experience:
- Facilitating sessions such as: cross-functional requirements
gathering, joint application development (JAD), or Rapid Project
Planning (RPP)
- Working with Agile software development methodologies, especially
SCRUM and KANBAN
- Practicing LEAN or six sigma process improvement methodologies
- Experience working for a top-tier consulting firm, providing data
analyst services for clients

*Minimum: *
- Demonstrated skill in using ErWin 7.x. to produce logical data and
process models based on principles of normalization and using standard
Information Engineering (IE) diagramming techniques;
- Strong familiarity with BI relational data concepts and theory.
- Skilled at developing and documenting process and data flows with Visio
- Familiarity with Healthcare electronic data interchanges standards and
data integration techniques. **
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively
communicate with all levels of the organization **
- Demonstrated interviewing and facilitation skills.
