*Title*: Sr. QA Lead
Location: Omaha NE
Duration: 06months+
Rate: DOE
*Required Skills:*
- Minimum of 6 years IT experience in Software testing and Quality
Assurance, which includes:
- 5+ years of solid Quality Assurance (QA) experience in JAVA/J2EE based
applications and services in a professional environment. Strong experience
in Process driven software development with software engineering principles.
- While Java testing is primary responsibility, UNIX/Linux with scripting
knowledge and C/C++ knowledge in testing perspective is required.
- Experience working in offshore team model is required. Team leadership
managing offshore testers is strongly desired.
- 5+ years of extensive experience on testing web applications and
services using - Junits, Regression test tools, Load and Performance testing
tools, Defect tracking tools (like HP Quality Center/QC) is required.
Identifying and logging all failure scenarios, faults, errors and defects is
required. Knowledge of test automation in continuous integration environment
using requisite tools (like Hudson) and publishing needed summary reports
and QA statistics is one of the job functions.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System testing and Integration testing
with over all end to end test coverage and traceability to requirements is
strongly a key responsibility of this role
- Adherence to project and programming standards, specifications and
guidelines and industry best practices in the QA area is a key job function.
- Involvement or exposure to full life cycle of enterprise JAVA
application development including exposure to SOA concepts (Web services ,
SOAP, WSDL and other service concepts) from QA and testing perspective
- Knowledge of relational databases, web applications, messaging, and
high-availability distributed systems
- Strong skills in defining, developing and writing test plans and cases
Excellent communication and documentation skills with attention to detail
is required
Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
including business SMEs and customers as well technical teams
Experience with Web Apps, Automation tools is a plus
Experience with application, service, tools and product /server
installation procedures is a plus
*Desired Skills:*

Testing experience on *Greenhat tool* for services for functional and
performance test automation will be a plus.
Knowledge of Communication Protocols, messaging, network configurations,
integration of dissimilar architecture based components on distributed
environments
Experience or exposure to concepts like Clustering, Failover, Fault
Tolerance for Reliability and Availability is very advantageous in this
role.

SOA architecture principles, Exposure to Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
concepts, Exposure to High Availability & Mission-Critical Architectures,
UNIX, C/C++, Swing, XML, Spring, Win Runner, Load Runner.
Exposure to Highly available mission-critical architectures is a definite
plus.
