The chosen candidate will need a standard background check and drug screen
performed.

*Job Responsibilities:*

·         SAP Upgrade from V4.6C or 4.7 to ECC 6.0

·         Experienced and skill Basis Consultants capable of independently
performing the technical upgrade from SAP 4.6C/ 4.7 to ECC 6.0

·         Support/ advice customer in upgrading their Operating System and
Database upgrade (SQL upgrade and windows 2003 to windows 2008)

·         R/3 Technical Upgrade - components in scope include FICO, FI-CA,
CCS,

·         IS Utility, HCM, PM, PS, MM



*Skill Sets Required:*

·         Minimum 4-5 years Basis experience, at least 3 upgrade projects of
which 2 should be to ECC 6.0. Be able to independently handle entire Basis
upgrade.

·         Highly motivated IT professional with an extensive SAP Basis
systems & security administration and support background; possesses the
ability to work independently with minimal supervision, to analyze and
resolve complex problems, to clearly articulate issues and recommendations,
and follow through with results on schedule. Must be goal oriented, highly
organized, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a
demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management.

*Candidate must have:*

·         Very good understanding of and experience with the following in
both standard R/3 (at least Enterprise 4.7 and higher including Netweaver

·         SAP transport management

·         Performance management and troubleshooting -SAP upgrades, CRTs,
patch implementation, application of OSS notes, modification adjustments
(SPAU and SPDD) -SAP Security – requirements gathering, implementation,
support, SOX-related activities and single sign-on; Demonstrable experience
with SAP security planning and execution and tools such as Profile
Generator, Central User Administration (CUA) -System/client copies, license
management -Solution monitoring using tools such as Solution Manager; setup
of EarlyWatch sessions, Go-Live checks –

·         Middleware tools & technologies such as ALE/Idocs, BAPIs, RFCs
-Web Application Server (WAS) 6.20 onwards preferably WAS 6.40 & Netweaver
and its major components (i.e., J2EE) Good to have:

·         Experience in coordinating activities among different groups
(developers, configures etc.), vendors and 3rd party solution providers
-Experience with SAP Portals and CRM -Exposure to and some experience with
the data dictionary objects and the ABAP development workbench -Strong
presentation skills
