· Proficient in the administration of Websphere Application Server ND versions 6.1, WebSphere Process Server, and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus. · Highly proficient with Unix variant operating systems. (AIX, Solaris, Linux) · Proficient in administration of IBM IHS and SunOne web server on Solaris. · Ability to evaluate, install, test, configure, maintain, monitor performance of and troubleshoot WebSphere applications. · A good understanding of concepts related to web server load balancing and other application scaling concepts. · Strong Unix systems administration experience.(Solaris, Linux, AIX) · Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills.(Unix, Networking, DMZ, Firewalls, J2EE, Web and Application Servers) · UNIX scripting skills. Creation and support of automation scripts, e.g. log rotation and plugin migration, configuration automation. · Thorough understanding of Java/J2EE concepts (JDBC, JMS/MQ, JSP, EJB, JNDI, etc&) required. · Understanding of security concepts and their application on the WAS environment. · Ability to follow, improve upon and create processes required for effective systems administration. · Exceptional organizational, documentation and communication skills. · Experience and/or knowledge of Introscope, Siteminder, WAS ND 6.1, SSL communication and WSADMIN scripting. · Expertise in load management, failover and high availability architectures.
