Data Conversion Analyst Location: SACRAMENTO, CA Duration: 24 months Req Details: ROLE: Data Conversion Analysts We are looking for an experienced data conversion analysts who can lead mainframe (COBOL / IDMS) data conversion activities. The candidate must have significant experience in data analysis and technical design and development of conversion programs Responsibilities: . Analyze and determine conversion requirements and develop conversion specifications . Perform technical analysis of client's existing mainframe system and interfaces . Create data mapping documents, develop data transformation programs . Communicate progress/issues to the technical lead Minimum qualifications: . Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent . Four (4) or more years of experience in data conversion - data analysis, data mapping and transformation . In-depth knowledge and prior experience in MS SQL Server Integration services . Knowledge and prior experience working data conversion from IDMS to SQL Server/Oracle is desired . Good written and verbal communication skills .
