Hyperion Systems Administrator Location: SUNNYVALE, CA Duration: 6 months Req Details: Hyperion Systems Administrator - Finance Hyperion Business Administrator - Finance Duties This position serves a critical role in the finance organization by supporting the company's financial planning and reporting system and models. This position is responsible for the day-to-day activities associated with maintaining the Hyperion production environment, including user support and metadata maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in budgeting; forecasting, reporting and financial analysis coupled with strong systems and process skills. Specific job responsibilities include: Administration of Hyperion system which includes leading modifications to the logic/business rules as necessary, maintenance of entity & account structures, streamlining data loads from various source systems Ability to work on a IT & Finance Hyperion Team to help gather user requirements and act as a liaison between user population and technical team Perform monthly, quarterly and annual maintenance activities to support both planning and close cycles from end to end. Prepare and maintain system documentation and user support material (Q&A's, etc.) Assist user group as necessary to support corporate finance and all FP&A functions. Supporting the developing planning tools and processes to next generation to include revenue, cash flow, full P&L and other metrics Experience with Field Sales Forecasting models a plus Responsible for administrating and maintaining the Hyperion models Ad Hoc Hyperion reporting according to business needs Skills / Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years Hyperion Essbase & Planning experience in a financial planning environment, preferably within the high technology industry Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or MIS. MIS, CPA and/or MBA is a plus. Must have Hyperion 9 or higher experience. Strong working knowledge of business intelligence solutions and financial applications is a plus. Experience as a Finance business partner with an understanding of how managers and analysts use financial and operational information to make better business decisions and ability to assimilate systems solutions in fast pace high tech environment. Attention to detail, organized and thorough with desire for continuous improvement. Strong written and oral communication skills.
