* *Business Analyst-Risk Management Location: Columbus, Ohio Assignment Start Date: 2/01/2011 -4 months renewable *Position Description:* Business Analyst to support the our client’s Technology & Conversions Risk Management team. Primary responsibility will be to work with various areas of Technology to document business and technology processes, highlight the risks and controls of the existing control environment, and identify any issues and gaps within that control environment. * * *Roles & Responsibilities:* 1. Execute meetings with subject matter experts within the area being mapped. 2. Create the Level 2 and Level 3 process maps according to client’s methodology, identifying the risks and controls within the mapped environment and validating those items with the subject matter experts/ area managers. 3. Create the corresponding Risk and Control matrix showing the relationship of identified risks and the controls which mitigate those risks. Determine with the business area those controls which are deemed key to the process' control environment. 4. Prepare upload templates with risk and control information extracted from the Risk and Control Matrix for import into the Enterprise Risk Management system. Primary Skills 1. Workflow Modeling a. Ability to document workflow models (process maps) from a Business perspective. (Visio experience preferred) b. Ability to define gaps, options, recommendations. 2. Meeting Management and Facilitation Skills – Ability to manage and facilitate meetings with business areas. 3. Priority Management – Ability to managed priorities across multiple projects, phases, and tasks. 4.
