Location: MN ( locals preferred)
Duration:6+ Months
*Position Overview:*
Client is seeking a Data Warehouse ETL Developer to add to our Warehouse/BI
group. This person will work closely with our Business Analysts, Data
Modeler and Report Developers in the design, development and implementation
of our warehouse and business intelligence solutions.

*Requirements:*
- Understanding of Data Modeling techniques and best practices
- In-depth knowledge of relational data model and dimensional data
model
- Must have strong Oracle PL/SQL and T-SQL programming skills
- Data warehousing, Oracle 10g/11g and MS SQL Server 2000/2005
experiences are required
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Hyperion 9 is a plus (not required)
*Essential Functions:*
- Working with Business Analysts and Data Modeler to understand the
business requirements and data models
- Developing the ETL processes from the data sources to data warehouse
staging and reporting database
- Serving as the primary FedACH Data Warehouse ETL developer, this
person will work closely with Business Analysts, Report
developer and Data
Warehouse architect for data extracting, data cleansing,
transformation and aggregation (loading) based on the data model for data
warehouse systems
- Providing technical ETL estimates and task breakdown
- Participating in peer code reviews and provide support to QA/Prod
during the test/migration process
- Support architecture efforts by following and adhering to the
standards set forth by the FedACH Information Architecture group and
maintain the integrity of application architecture
- Maintain data integration, data distribution, data performance and
correct issues as they arise
- Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer of PL/SQL and T-SQL skills
to existing staff
*Education:*
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
*Experience:*
- Knowledge of relational database and dimensional modeling theory
- Experienced in Oracle 10g/11g and SQL Server 2000/2005 include MS
SQL Server 2000/2005 Analysis Services (OLAP)
- Experience with MS Windows platforms and UNIX Operating System
- 5+ years experience in application development working with complex
databases such as Oracle and MS SQL Server
- 5+ years experience with Oracle PL/SQL programming
- 2+ years experience with T-SQL programming
