Role : SAS  Applications Developer

Location : DC



 We are looking for a senior Applications Development contractor in IT. This
person will assist in the maintenance of an existing financial reporting
system. Most of the system runs under Linux/SAS with additional modules
using ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> and SQL Server.

Requirements include: strong skills in SAS including SAS/AF, ODS and SAS
Macros running on the Linux platform. Linux skills should include
familiarity with scheduling batch jobs and experience with all the normal
Linux utilities and file system operations. A strong background in Banking
and Financial analysis is also important.

Experience with Web based development and SQL Server, including XML, HTML,
CSS and familiarity with Section 508 compliance would also be very useful.

The contract will extend through the end of the current year, contingent on
support requirements.

We would like it to start as soon as possible. Due to the nature of the work
this person will be doing for our client only U.S. citizens or permanent
residents may be hired as contractors.

This is a Senior position requiring 10 years experience. The business goals
are to provide support to the H.4.1 series data collection and publishing
system. Good communications skills with application clients about banking
and financial information is very important.
