Position: Solution Architect
Duration: 6+ months
Location: Atlanta, GA
Need *2 Solution Architects *
To support the Quikview program (which is the development of a new
Universal User Interface Retail applications)
· To *lead design efforts* with developers, other architects, system
analysts, etc…
· Will *break down business and technology problems* (not code level
discussions)
· Will help in taking ideas, flush them out, gather/facilitate
design teams, and make recommendations on how to move forward.
· *Will determine high level system architecture*
· Will help to *define architectural standards* and best practices
within those disciplines.
· Will interact with senior management and others to effect
solutions in support of technical and business requirements
· Will prepare and maintain documents that include *architecture
diagrams, data models, and navigation maps*
· Will *analyze and prepare* recommendations to *address existing
and potential trouble areas in systems and procedures as well as design* and
recommendation on new solutions both in relation to hardware and software
design.
Skills:
· *Absolutely needs to be able to lay out a technical solution in a
way that the client could easily understand. *
· *Strong experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)*
· *Worked in or around Agile projects*
· Understanding *of architectural concepts, n-tier architectures,
and databases*
· *Well versed in large enterprise environments (ie millions of
transactions)*
· *Telecom experience* (+); if not telecom, large enterprise
required
· *Development background*
· *Need strong leadership – will run meetings, guide the
architectural process*
· *Needs to be very “quick” minded*
