*GIS Developer* Location: *Laurel, MD* Duration: *6 months* *IN PERSON INTERVIEW IS A MUST!!!* ** *GIS Developer* must show demonstrated knowledge and hands on experience, in the following areas: Proficiency and experience with *ESRI ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server and Desktop products*, in a development environment Designing and architecting/developing custom applications for desktop *GIS users using, the ESRI* product line Experience analyzing needs, developing project design and scope, and project management Proficient with relational databases (e.g. *SQL Server and Oracle*) Excellent communication skills (oral and written), a desire to interact with a team, clients, and agency staff; great all-around people skills Documenting and *diagramming solution architectures* Providing guidance and support to department business units in recommending *GIS solutions* Participating in project planning, architecture and process discussions related to GIS Collaborating with other team members involved in the software development Strong experience with web development using *ASP.NET* and other front end technologies Knowledge of Oracle Application environment, e.g., *Oracle Application Server, Oracle Web Logic, Oracle SOA*.
