*QA Consultant***
*Duration - 10 months*

- *Candidate must be able to program in Java, C/C++ or another object
oriented language*.
- *Experience programming with VB in QTP does not count!*
***Job Description***
*Use your background in Development / QA* to perform highly technical
testing across a suite of financial products under BillMeLater brand.
Work closely with a cross-functional team including business leaders,
development engineers, scrum masters, and project managers to execute
testing within an extremely fast-paced agile environment. Leverage your
programming skills to develop data-driven test cases using Groovy within
soapUI. Work closely with developers to isolate and reproduce defects.
Participate in agile scoring meetings, user story development and test case
reviews. With your “can do” attitude, bright smile and sharp skills come
join a team that is willing to take on any challenge and succeed!
***Job Requirements***
- Programming experience with Groovy or an object oriented programming
language a must (Java, C, C++)
- Experience testing web services and creating automated scripts using
soapUI
- Experience working as or with a scrum master within and Agile team
- Experience with one or more of the major RDBMS (Oracle or DB2)
- Good understanding of SQL
- Experience executing a wide variety of UNIX commands and scripts
- Knowledge of back office Credit and Operational processes (Credit /
Underwriting, Settlement, Chargeback, etc) preferred
- Knowledge of FDR or TSYS a plus
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to communicate across
business and technical teams
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and/or at least 5+
years plus experience in software quality assurance & testing
