Must have 10 years plus experience in Oracle Apps.* * * *Senior Oracle Application Developer* 3-6 months Way, Dover, NH *Responsibilities:* · Analyzes technical system problems, and designs and implements effective solutions. · Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. · May be asked to provide on-call support. · Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. · Consults on technical issues. · Investigates components of new tools and techniques. · Contributes to the development of project plans, and assigns and monitors tasks of lower level Software Developers as responsibilities and experience grows. *Qualifications:* · Sound understanding of Oracle architecture · Experience in OIC, HR, Payroll and Self Service Modules · Experience with Databases - Oracle 9i/10g. Strong SQL, PL/SQL skills. Java - a plus. · Experience using Oracle Developer tools viz. Forms Builder, Reports Builder, Workflow Builder and experience using TOAD. · Extensive Experience in designing/developing PL/SQL packages and experience using Oracle API's · Experience with JDeveloper/OA Framework. · Basic Unix/Linux and shell script skills · Experience with source control tools · Experience in performance tuning. · Strong knowledge and use of SDLC(Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies, standards, and procedures with experience in promoting database changes from development through production environments. · Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and solve complex PL/SQL issues, and the ability to reverse engineer existing PL/SQL code into functional requirements. · Ability to create functional requirements and technical designs from business requirements, and effectively communicate technical decisions to non-technical staff. · Bachelors Degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
