PeopleSoft Financials Functional Lead/Sr Analyst – this role is an interim
role at a client site that is already in production on PeopleSoft financials
and HR. They are currently on v8.9 and are live on GL, AP, AR, BI, and EX
as well as HR, Ben Admin and Payroll. The role is to be the manager of
financial applications which will consist of supporting financials users,
managing break/fix queues, doing some ad-hoc training of users, assisting in
SOX process, reviewing and helping design development requests, acting as
liaison between financials users and offshore support and development team.
The requirements/experience for the role is as follows:
Strong accounting background with demonstrated ability to discuss
accounting issues with users and controllership function
Experience with project accounting (professional services industry
experience)
Minimum 5-7 years implementing/supporting PeopleSoft financials
Deep experience with GL, AP, PO, EX, AR and BI. Experience with
Projects and Contracts nice to have.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience with PeopleSoft security setup
Functional Resource with some technical fluency (understands and
scope out development/customization efforts)
Multi currency experience
Experience with post production support and upgrades
