Relevant Experience (Yrs) : 5+ years
Technical/Functional Skills : Candidates must have strong experience
(at-least 5 years) in C++; additional experience in core JAVA is
advantageous.
Must have experience with the following technologies:
• C++ STL libraries
• Multi-threaded programming and inter-thread communication and
control.
• TCP/IP Programming
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix, shell script, perl, awk and similar
utilities
Experience Required This role requires understanding of Market/Tick
Data
Roles & Responsibilities : Deliverables Include:
• Develop components and systems for electronic trading including
Market and/or Tick data.
• Conduct Performance tests around vendor and in-house development
components, feeding into the recommendation process for standards
tools.
• Assist application developers with optimization components to
achieve the necessary performance requirements for our low latency
traders.
• Development of multi-asset electronic trading systems and components
like Client Connectivity, Market/Tick Data, and Trade/Position
management serving different product lines in the bank.
Education : BA required
Excellent faculty for logical reasoning.
Ability to handle mathematics of A Level standard, including good
grasp of statistics.
Work Location
: New York City – however, Communication might be needed with
other
locations globally which requires early mornings and/or late evenings.
