Client currently seeks a Project Manager to join our team in Albany,
NY.

Project Description:
The Child Care Facility System (CCFS) is a production application that
has had a phased development and implementation. While several phases
of the system have been completed and released, several additional
phases must be developed, coded and implemented. This position is for
the Technical PowerBuilder Project Manager that is integral to the
timely completion of Application Package, Enforcements, Wireless
Inspection Checklist and Legally Exempt modules. Additionally, they
will have the overall responsibility for the maintenance of code that
has been released thus far and future technological upgrades and
advances.
Position Functions or Responsibilities:
This person will have a close working relationship with the other
members of the development team, including users, and with other CCFS
coders to ensure coding is streamlined and compatible with CCFS.
It is vital that CCFS continues to be supported by obtaining a
consultant who will be responsible for leading and managing all the
technical aspects of the CCFS project through design, pilot,
implementation, and post implementation enhancements. Without this
position, CCFS will not have the resources to maintain their current
code base and fixes to that base will not be able to be completed.
This will leave CCFS in intimate peril of failure with no prior
notice.
Desirable Experience Preferred for These Positions
1. Good Communication & Interpersonal skills (20 Points)
2. Four (4) or more years experience leading the technical aspects
for large/complex applications using PowerBuilder 8.0 or higher with
an Oracle backend. (20 Points)
3. Two (2) or more years experience interfacing PowerBuilder
applications with VB.Net systems utilizing Web Services and XML. (20
Points)
4. Three (3) or more years experience in directing/managing the
development of web enabled PowerBuilder applications using an internet
platform. (20 Points)
5. Four (4) or more years experience managing/leading the
development of PowerBuilder applications in a 3+Tier distributed
Client Server environment. (20 Points)

Qualification: 1. Bachelors degree-

Qualification: 2. A minimum of four (4) years project management
experience in utilizing a project management methodology in an
Information Technology environment.

Qualification: 3. Three (3) years of additional experience working on
Information Technology projects with supervisory responsibility of at
least one component of a system development lifecycle.
Minimum Years Required: 3
Qualification: 4. Two (2) years of experience in a manager role on a
complex Information Technology project
Minimum Years Required: 2
