*Rate   :  $55/hr on c2c*

*ONLY CANIDIDATES WITH  9 years experience, 60% Development with SQL 2005,
40% DBA with 2008.  Must be able to do an IN PERSON INTERVIEW, must be able
to pass 2 prove it tests (DBA and developer).*

*SQL 2008 DBA 40%,  *

*SQL 2005 DEVELOPER 60%. *



*POSITION SUMMARY:   *



This person will be responsible for the architecture of the Feed Processing
systems and enhancement and development of current Feed Processing systems
and tools that align with the vision and direction of Redcats USA.
Partnering with the various departments within the Online Technology
division this individual will Design, develop, review, and administer all
processes,  SSIS packages, stored procedures, and calling interfaces to
support and sustain the reliability, integrity, and scalability of Redacts
USA’s production and mission-critical e-commerce applications, environments,
and infrastructure.

*DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:*



·         Work closely with the Online Technology teams of network, systems,
operations, development, project management, and Q/A who are responsible for
enhancing and supporting the e-commerce platform.

·         Develop large scale feed processing systems from heterogeneous
sources.

·         Develop policies and procedures for current and future operational
requirements.

·         Scope and estimate any functional requirements requiring database
interaction

·         Plan all modifications and rollouts to data tiers.

·         Monitor and respond to all database jobs and activity

·         Monitor and respond to all database performance and scalability
issues

·         Plan and implement load-level testing on the data tier

·         Install SQL Server databases, services, patches, and/or hot fixes

·         Respond to production and/or mission-critical issues and needs on
24/7 basis

·         Review and recommend database and system-level optimization
techniques and procedures

·         Recommend database approaches and design to engineering staff

·         Confirm IT project outcomes by establishing standards and testing
requirements.

·         Prepare status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing
information and trends.

·         Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting
ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring
opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

·         Examine and recommend changes to current business practices;
developing and writing proposals.

·         Manage client expectations by building relationships;
communicating project status and open issues; preparing reports; conducting
reviews and issue meetings; discovering new issues.

·         Implements solutions by monitoring project progress; tracking
action items; conducting design and implementation reviews; examining,
researching, and resolving issues; escalating issues to appropriate
authority; responding to team members' concerns; following production,
productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying work
process improvements.

·         Updates job knowledge by participating in educational
opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal
networks; participating in professional organizations; coordinating hardware
and software evaluations with vendors.

*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*

* *

·         Large scale ETL (Extract, transform, load)  experience with SQL
Server REQUIRED

·         Experience emphasizing on SSIS, XML feeds, Performance tuning.

·         Four-year degree.

·         Proven Technical Management in an eCommerce or Trading
environment.

·         Operating Systems: Windows 2003/2010

·         5 – 7 year experience of SQL Server 2005 database design and
administration within a high volume, transaction-oriented web environment

·         2 – 5 year Experience in SSIS

·         5 – 7 year Experience in SQL Server database clustering

·         5 – 7 year Experience in SQL data modeling and design

·         Expert knowledge Transact SQL (T SQL)

·         Good knowledge of relational databases (concepts and constructs)

·         Knowledge of distributed architecture and design

·         Thorough knowledge of data backup, recovery, and rollback
planning/implementation

·         Proficiency in SQL Server 2005 optimization, fine-tuning, and
scalability techniques

·         Thorough knowledge of data security issues

·         Strong knowledge of network architecture and topology

·         BS/BA in Computer Science (or related field), Advance Degree
Preferred in Computer Science (or related field).

·         MCDBA Preferred

·         Ability to plan, manage (proficiency, processes, and people), and
problem solve in fast passed demanding environment.

·         Ability to analyze information and provide management level
reporting.

·         Ability to work in a team environment or independently with
general guidelines and minimal supervision.**

·         Proven written and verbal communications skills.**
