Duration: 10 months Location: Detroit, MI Role: Implement and deploy an Algosec firewall analyzer. Must be local resource Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or Electrical Engineer (MUST HAVE) 3 to 5 years of information systems experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Certifications: (required) Cisco Systems CCSP, CCNP CISSP certification Knowledge and practical experience to be used for design, implementation, troubleshooting and escalation for all network and firewall staff to troubleshoot Layer 2 & 3 networks to include Cisco routers, switches, VPNs, SSL, Checkpoint and Cisco PIX and ASA firewalls as well as content delivery networks (load balancers) in a 24x7x364 enterprise environment. The ability to write, review and update standard operating procedures and create designs through Visio is necessary. Operate and interpret data analysis tools such as sniffer, snoop, rspan and tcpdump. Qualifications: MS/BS in CS or IS; or technical certifications: CCNP, CCSE. Intermediate level of knowledge is required in Cisco routers and switches, IOS/CatOs, Local & Distributed load balancers, STP, VTP, TCP/IP, VLSM, HSRP, VRRP, VPN, CDN, F5. PIX, Checkpoint and Nokia hardware. 5-7 years of experience in Cisco and firewall networking is required.
