JAVA Developer Location: CHARLOTTE, NC Duration: 6 months Req Details: Must be experts using the following technology JAVA 1.6/1.5 SPRING 3.0/2.5 JAVA Script JSP CSS Eclipse / MyEclipse SQL Ideal Candidate Skillset: This Java web application is made up of several leading technologies, such as Spring 3.0/2.5, Java 1.6/1.5, JasperSoft, Apache Commons, Hibernate, Dojo 1.5, JavaScript, JSP, CSS, Maven, Husdon, TestNG, JSON, PMD, FindBugs, HTML, Hibernate, Eclipse/MyEclipse, SQL, PL/SQL, Quartz Scheduling, JDBC, JIRA, Confluence, Subversion, Safari, FireFox, Firebug, Internet Explorer 7.0/8.0, Java EE5 running on a JBoss 5.0 Application server. We use several databases Netezza, Oracle, and PostgreSQL. Once the Web Application is in General Release, it will be ported to environments for smart phone devices and tablets. These new platforms may require use of a Native Development Kits (NDK). (Note: Mandatory skillset is in bold font ) Job Descriptions Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining a high business priority application. Software developers design, code, test, debug, document programs, participate in code reviews. Developers will work closely with other developers and business analysts in defining or refining requirements for system design. Developers may pair program on complex issues and become involve in the deployment of the application to the different environments. Developers are expected to have sufficient depth of experiences in frontend and backend technologies such that they can move through the application with the different work assignments. This includes writing PL/SQL for store procedures. Description of Technical Environment (Database, Op System, etc): The team is using the scrum (agile) methodology for developing their product. The team conducts a one day planning session before the 7-9 day development cycle. Developers are engaged in the planning effort. The team is structured with 18 personnel: 8 Java Developers, a CSS Developer, 2 business analysts, 4 Testers, a System Analyst, a Scrum Master and a Manager.
