*Summary:*
This position is responsible for conducting test planning and execution for
manual, automated and performance testing. The position is part of a team
responsible for testing of all solutions but will be focused primarily on
testing of the enterprise data warehouse and reporting solutions.
*Qualifications:*
- 5+ years experience in manual and automated Quality Assurance testing
- Proven expertise and experience in testing data warehouse and reporting
solutions. Expertise in analyzing and validating data from multiple sources
to target
- Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts
- Deep understanding and experience in standard testing methodologies
- Expert-level, hands-on experience with automated test tools
- Expert level, hands-on experience in the use of automated performance
testing tools.
- Hand on experience in writing sql queries and shell scripts
- Ability to communicate with the infrastructure team to recommend
alternative solutions for addressing bottlenecks
- Insurance/Reinsurance industry experience and knowledge with an
understanding of the terminology, business functions and processes is
strongly preferred
- Experience with VSTS performance testing and defect management is
preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal relationship and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Personal time management skills and ability to meet individual
deadlines
