Weblogic Admin Location: SAN FRANCISCO, CA Duration: 12 months Req Details: Position Description: Experience Level: 4 year degree and 7+ years technical experience with 5+ years web experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Description: Acts in a lead technical role providing technical guidance and consultation with developers, clients and IT management for web systems environments. Provides the strategy and design for projects associated with web and e-commerce application installations, upgrades and deployments. Utilizes advanced technologies and methods to integrate web systems with existing systems, enabling the creation of new or expanded web enterprises. Develops new documentation and departmental technical procedures. Directs the gathering of performance statistics to assist in determining hardware and communication tools needed to support projected transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets. As an escalation point, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of! highly complex technical problems involving the maintenance and/or creation of web sites and e-commerce applications and their integration into the existing systems environment. Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan. Basic Qualifications 7+ years experience in web systems environments which includes web application installations, upgrades, and deployment as well as any servers/ systems that support/ host web applications. Minimum Requirements In addition to the minimum requirements, the successful candidate should have: * 4+ yrs experience in BEA Weblogic Admin, Configuration and J2EE development or deployments with knowledge in clustering, JMS, Connection Pools, J2EE, thread Dump analysis. * 4+ yrs experience working with ClearCase as a Build Engineer or J2EE Developer level experience with UNIX and ClearCase tools. * 4+ yrs experience with build systems like Ant, Maven, make etc. Strong scripting skills in Perl, Ant and Unix-Shell. * Knowledge of Continuous Integration tools like AnthillPro, BuildForge or open source technologies is highly desirable. * Deployment/integration experience in Java/J2EE,Oracle, Unix, Weblogic, Apache environment. * 2+ yrs experience working in capacity planning and performance tuning of J2EE applications and platforms, using Java profilers and/or Wily Introscope. * Excellent working knowledge in Unix/Solaris is required. * Java language and tools deployment experience a plus * Ability to analyze and troubleshoot web applications in a 3 tier J2EE environment on UNIX/Solaris or similar platforms. * Willingness to mentor, have strong analytical, technical documentation, and excellent business communication skills are required. * Must demonstrate solid understanding of SDLC and change control processes. * Bachelor/Masters Degree in Computer Sciences or other technical discipline Preferred Skills * Experience in web-services integration using AXIS or XML Beans * Working experience with SUN N1SPS and AnthilPro is a big plus * Experience with Sun One Web Server or Apache * Experience with Big-IP F5 and load-balancing * Experience with Shell and/or Perl scripting Regards Kamal Econosoft Inc Contact: 408-521-1140 Ext 4833 Fax: 775-923-8767 [email protected] WWW.Econosoftinc.com Disclaimer: We respect your Online Privacy.
